Background
Driven by the Government mission to create domestic energy efficiencies - particularly in the social housing sector, npower acquired SPI Group to add to its energy services business npower HomeTeam. SPI provides services to the social housing market and its commercial arm serves public buildings, including schools.

Brief
The acquisition of SPI by npower, meant there were integration challenges around cultural alignment, as well as differences in ways of working and sector relationships. The social housing market was a new sector for npower – in terms of the change in dynamics from residential consumers to Local Authorities or Housing Associations.

Solution
We brought our knowledge of the social housing sector, to create a value proposition, language and narrative that the new collective team could embrace. We developed a programme of events and conferences, that communicated the strategy and implementation plans across all levels of the business, that was then translated into work winning proposals.
