Background
Upon the acquisition by Anglo, Tarmac’s seven regional operating companies came together to form Tarmac National Contracting. With this national integration, organisational transformation was required to create common systems and processes across every function of the business, operation protocols and ways of working.
Brief
The seven regions often had numerous systems and processes that were unique to them. The leadership challenge was to bring the integration together as seamlessly as possible, with a cohesive approach, route map, operational and communications plans, to bring all its people with them.
Solution
We created an overall proposition ‘One’, with a strapline ‘One Team, One Vision, One Voice.’ This enabled us to create a transformation route map for the leadership team, that through workshops, events and leadership conferences, delivered a hands-on programme of business support that was cascaded through the management teams to ensure a consistent approach to implementation.
